Our Clinical Support team of experienced professionals consists of Clinical Development Specialists, Regional Clinical Support Specialists and Clinical Competency Center. Each team offers unique services to ensure that you, our customer receive superior support for clinical device and training matters.
The Clinical Development Specialists (CDS) are your front-line support and can arrange training for the IntraLase FS, VISX® Excimer, and Wavescan Wavefront® Systems. The Regional Clinical Support Specialists (RCSS) are the field based specialists that support direct and distributor markets for escalated clinical issues via phone and on-site. Finally, the Clinical Competency Center works with the CDS and RCSS teams to manage clinical escalation and oversee maintenance, product surveillance and compliance as well as creates and provides all clinical training materials.
AMO's Global Clinical Competency Center (CCC) focuses on establishing and advancing superior clinical solutions for you, our customers. Our highly skilled clinical support staff offers extensive services to ensure physicians and technicians are mentored, fully trained and certified so they can provide optimal care for their patients. In addition to this, the CCC supports first response solutions to the majority of clinical issues and contains and resolves urgent escalated clinical issues. Another important role of the CCC is to actively research the root causes and corrective actions for clinical and product issues based on trend analysis in order to continuously create innovative solutions.
